The sale takes over from Sotheby’s last September, which sold Diana’s famous red sweater with a black sheep for $1.14 million. During the Julien’s auction, the blouse that the future princess wore in her engagement portrait in 1981 quadrupled its original estimate, ending up at $381,000.
