Winter and snow are coming to the Apennines

AGI – A low pressure circulation with a drop of cooler air at high altitudes will move from Western Europe towards the Mediterranean in the coming hours. Deterioration of weather conditions, notes the Italian Meteorological Center, especially in the regions of southern Italy, where there will be no shortage of precipitation locally, including thunderstorms. Still cold weather with temperatures several degrees below average and the possibility of snow along the Apennines, sometimes below 1000 meters.

With the arrival of the second weekend of January, an anticyclonic ridge rises over the western Mediterranean. More stable weather conditions in Italy, but with northerly currents that will still maintain a rather cold climate. The latest updates from the Italian meteorological center now show a fast cold front passing through our peninsula in the first part of next week, which may be followed by a milder phase.
